On Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, an open lesson will be held as part of the course "Tools of Ethical and Solidary Finance", a valuable appointment to explore the new frontiers of finance serving society. The event will take place in the Juan Vecchi Hall of the Pontifical Salesian University and will feature the participation of national and international experts in ethical and sustainable finance.

The course is part of the Ethical, Economy and Law of the Third Sector program of the Faculty of Philosophy, the first academic curriculum dedicated to Social Economy, aiming to represent a true investment in social impact.

Program

New models and opportunities of Social Finance, Speaker: Gabriele Sepio, Cassation Lawyer and Tax Law Professor at the Pontifical University of Rome. Professor Sepio will provide an overview of the new tools and models of social finance, highlighting their potential in addressing contemporary economic and social challenges.

The Transformation of Sustainable Finance: Tools for a Responsible Future, Speaker: Elisa Zambito Marsala, Responsible for Education Ecosystem and Global Value Programs at Intesa Sanpaolo and Professor of Principles of Ethical and Sustainable Finance at the Pontifical University of Rome. An intervention that will analyze the main tools discussed in the course, supporting the transformation processes of the third sector in an era characterized by significant changes and how a major bank interprets its contribution to the country on the topic of evolving skills and education.

Corporate Governance – towards a new human-centered vision, Speaker: Giovanni Barbara, Cassation Lawyer and Legal Auditor, Director of Scientific Affairs of the Corporate Governance Magazine, Senior Partner Lexacta Global Legal Advice, and Extraordinary Professor of Commercial Law. The topic of corporate governance will be addressed from an innovative perspective, putting human value at the center as a key element for the success and sustainability of organizations.

Case Study: Banco Alimentare Roma ODV, Speaker: Antonio Daood, Assistant Professor in Organization Studies at LUISS Guido Carli University and President of the Association Banco Alimentare Roma ODV. Professor Daood will present a case study dedicated to Banco Alimentare Roma, a concrete example of how the third sector can contribute to positive social impact through innovative and solidarity practices.

The Bachelor's Degree in Ethics, Economy, and Law of the Third Sector: An Investment in Social Impact, Francesco Langella, Communication and Development Director - PR Manager - Secretary General of the Pontifical Salesian University. The importance of specific academic training dedicated to the third sector to respond to a growing demand for professionalism in a crucial area for society.

Moderator: Enzo Argante, Forbes Journalist and President of Nuvolaverde, will guide the debate, stimulating reflections and insights on the topics discussed.
