The training opportunity, promoted by CRUIPRO, is open to students of License and Doctorate programs in all fields and will take place from September 29th to October 3rd, 2025, at the John Paul II Institute in Rome.
The course, "Being a Leader in a Synodal Church: Training in Ecclesial Discernment for Mission", aims to prepare leaders capable of guiding and orienting the ecclesial community in the spirit of synodality. The adopted approach combines theory and practice, fostering immersive learning through tools such as mutual listening, conversation in the Spirit, interaction between science, theology, and pastoral work, common prayer, and moments of fraternal sharing.
This initiative is free and exclusively aimed at students who are regularly enrolled for the academic year 2025/2026 and are currently studying in Rome. On-site attendance is mandatory, and a final exam will be required to obtain 3 ECTS credits.
The program will be led by a prestigious group of professors, including:
- Nathalie Becquart, Under-Secretary of the Synod of Bishops
- Philippe Bordeyne, Dean of the John Paul II Institute
- Andrea Bozzolo, Rector of the Pontifical Salesian University and President of CRUIPRO
