The Pontifical Salesian University, through the Pro Universitate Don Bosco Association, promotes fundraising activities aimed at providing study grants and/or scholarships for Italian and international students who are experiencing economic hardship and/or social difficulties.

Requirements: Being students of a pontifical university.

Subject: French language course at the Institut Catholique de Paris, at the candidate’s choice, in July or August.

Requirements: Priests, seminarians, religious, laypeople. Priority is given to candidates who wish to improve their level of French in order to prepare for or complete their future or current doctoral work.

Subject: The research areas of interest cover all the disciplines mentioned in the Apostolic Constitution Veritatis Gaudium on ecclesiastical universities and faculties of December 8, 2017.

Requirements: Doctoral students from universities, pontifical academies, and Roman pontifical colleges who have presented and defended their thesis within a year and a half before the application deadline.

Requirements: Seminarians, priests, religious individuals, and laypeople from developing countries.

Acton Institute

Subject: Scholarships and Academic Awards on Topics of Economy, Administration, Law in Relation to Theology, Human Dignity, and Freedom. The Calihan Academic Scholarships provide financial assistance to graduate students and seminarians currently studying theology, philosophy, economics, or related fields. Novak Award: Current doctoral candidates or those who have obtained a doctorate in the last five years on the aforementioned topics.

Centro Universitario Cattolico - Roma, Italy

Subject: Support for Research and Doctoral Studies.

Scholarships are awarded for projects lasting up to three years and are subject to annual review.

Requirements: Italian citizens with a master’s degree.
