Next Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, the traditional Meeting of the Academic Community will be held in the Paul VI Hall of our University; it constitutes a moment of interdisciplinary reflection on a chosen theme and a precious opportunity for discussion and exchange between students and professors, aimed at building relationships and promoting the human and intellectual growth of all members of the academic community.

This year's meeting is titled "Hope does not disappoint", echoing the verse from the Letter to the Romans that opens the bull of indiction for the Jubilee 2025, now approaching, and revisits the theme of hope which we addressed in the inaugural lecture of the academic year.

Hope as a virtue and as a constitutive dimension of Man will be the focus and starting point of the reflections carried out by the speakers, one from each faculty: prof. Cristiana Freni for Philosophy, prof. Guido Benzi for Theology, prof. Roberto Fusco for Christian and Classical Letters, prof. Fabio Pasqualetti for Communication Sciences, and prof. Antonio Dellagiulia for Educational Sciences.

Morning classes on November 20 will end at 11:25 AM, and the fourth class period will be replaced by the community meeting, to allow all Students and Professors to participate.

At the end of the meeting, at 1:00 PM, the Journey around the world will take place in the University hall, another traditional event of our University: it is an important moment of celebration of the multiculturality of our community through the sharing of the most significant elements of each one's cultural identity, such as music, stories, and typical dishes from their places of origin.
