The Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Salesian University (UPS) is organizing a roundtable discussion titled "Synod on Synodality: experiences and perspectives." The speakers participated in the second session of the "Synod on Synodality" (October 2-27, 2024) and will offer the fruits of their lived experience, rich in reflections and content that open new paths forward.

The Magnificent Rector of UPS, prof. Andrea Bozzolo, SDB, will introduce the study day with a presentation that focuses on the heart of synodality, namely the theological foundations that underpin the style of a synodal Church.

Sr. Yvonne Reungoat, Superior General Emerita of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA), will speak about the mutually enriching relationship between ecclesial synodality and the communal dimension of consecrated life.

Prof. Hyacinthe Destivelle, O.P., Director of the Institute for Ecumenical Studies at the Angelicum and official of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, will conclude the study day by discussing the contribution of the synodal journey to ecumenism.

The meeting will be moderated by prof. Fernando Sahayadas, Dean of the Faculty of Theology.
