Sponsorship

The use of sponsorships represents an innovative opportunity to finance the activities of UPS and its Faculties and aims to promote organizational improvement and the achievement of revenue or cost savings in pursuing UPS’s objectives.

Sponsorship involves the total or partial funding of UPS and/or Faculty activities with scientific, cultural, educational, and promotional purposes, such as conferences, congresses, seminars, training events, etc., in line with the statutory objectives of UPS.

Through the sponsorship of an event, conference, congress, course, research, etc., the Sponsor agrees to pay UPS a previously agreed amount, which will be invoiced by UPS and transferred to the bank details provided by the Administration at least thirty days before the event, with the aim of promoting their name, business name, logo, and/or company brand.

The sponsorship contract may also cover:

  • the provision of materials or goods/equipment;
  • the provision of a service.

These types of supplies must be previously agreed upon and authorized by the Administration.

The Administration of UPS will directly cover the costs incurred for the event (speaker reimbursements, graphic materials, external services, etc.) according to the shared budget guidelines. This budget will also include a portion for the reimbursement of the University’s fixed expenses.
