How to register with UPS

Enrolment for study programs for the 2024/2025 academic year is now open.

  • Registration for the first semester: 2 September to 11 October 2024
  • Registration for the second semester: 3 February to 28 February 2025

For registration

  1. Contact the Faculty Secretariat for admission procedures and the steps to follow for the release, by the Dean, of the "admission form" to the University. Below are the contacts and specific instructions depending on the faculty and/or curriculum of interest: 
  1. once you have obtained your admission document and passed any entrance tests (in the case of the Psychology and Social Communication curricula), you must register your personal data on the Automatic Secretariat Services website by choosing the Registration/Enrolment option
  2. submit the admission document together with the documents listed below to the General Secretariat
  3. non-Italian students must demonstrate knowledge of the Italian language at level B1 of the European language certification system. It is therefore necessary to present a certificate of a course with the final exam taken

Documents required for admission

  • Basic qualification - High School Diploma. Students from countries outside the European Union must present the title translated into Italian or English, authenticated by the Italian diplomatic or consular authority resident in the country of origin, and if necessary, with a declaration of the validity of the Title for admission to the University
  • Passport or identity document (to be presented in original)
  • For students from countries outside the European Union: residence permit in Italy for study purposes. For those who do not have it, it is necessary to have a 'Type D entry visa to Italy (for study purposes)' in their passport
  • Specific qualification with certificate of grades from the curriculum, if required by the academic degree you intend to enroll in (e.g. the Baccalaureate for those who want to enroll in the Licentiate
  • One passport-size photograph
  • Presentation letter. For Religious: a letter of presentation issued by the Ordinary or his Delegate for Ecclesiastics, Religious and Seminarians, declaring that the student is suitable, due to moral conduct, to be enrolled.
    For Lay People: letter of introduction issued by an ecclesiastical person in which it is declared that the student is suitable, due to moral conduct, to be enrolled
