Orientamenti Pedagogici, founded in 1954, is an international journal of educational sciences published by the Erickson Publishers.
The magazine has established itself in the scientific environment for the care with which it documents and promotes the development of psycho-pedagogical research, supporting experimentation and constantly fostering dialogue with the educators and professionals engaged in the field.
Orientamenti Pedagogici is edited by the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Salesian University in Rome and hosts contributions from university lecturers and experts in the various fields of educational sciences.
It is aimed at specialists and operative agents in education, with particular reference to researchers, teachers, psychologists and pedagogists, sociologists, university students, those interested in sciences of education for study or professional purposes, such as community educators and socio-cultural animators.
Orientamenti Pedagogici aims to offer a framework of theoretical reference, constantly updated, from an interdisciplinary and intercultural perspective, on major pedagogical, didactic and psychological themes. It presents methods, tools and techniques of observation and scientific investigation, field research, analysis and documentation of experiences. It critically and thoroughly reviews and evaluates the most recent international publications, which deal with pedagogical, didactic, psychological, sociological and historical issues.
