Research

Salesianum

Salesianum is the official journal of the Salesian Pontifical University, which publishes it quarterly. Founded in 1939, at the nascent Salesian Athenaeum of Turin, it has accompanied its research activities ever since, with a marked interdisciplinary character. Under the banner of a harmonious vision of knowledge, Salesianum proposes itself as an organ for scientific comparison and discussion, particularly in the fields of philosophy and theology.

Contributions published in Salesianum are subject to double-blind peer review.

The magazine is divided into three sections:

  • Studia: articles that make an original scientific contribution in the fields of interest of the Journal.
  • Commentaria: minor articles, presentations of relevant publications, debates, bibliographic reviews, congress chronicles.
  • Recensiones: critical reviews of volumes of scientific interest.
