The Institutional and Strategic Project (PIeS) of the Salesian Pontifical University (UPS) expresses the project of the University, according to the guidelines of the Congregation for Catholic Education (CEC) and the Agency of the Holy See for the Evaluation and Promotion of Quality of Ecclesiastical Universities and Faculties (AVEPRO).
The PIeS was formed after various internal and external evaluations. Approved by the Academic Senate on 22 June 2022, and by the Grand Chancellor, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, it was proposed to the entire Academic Community through a special text of presentation ("Don Bosco's University for the 'new humanism'", January 31, 2017) to guide the Lines of Action Plans and Planning at every level of responsibility.
