Teologia fondamentale RA0301

Sede di Gerusalemme

General Objective: To introduce students to the structural theme of fundamental theology: The Revelation of Christ and its theological credibility—to this is added the corresponding act of faith on the part of the thinking and believing subject.

Course Outlines: The whole course is addressed transversally by “an original apologetics” (cf. Evangelii gaudium, 132; Veritatis gaudium, Proemio 5), and by the dynamism from a theology of foundations to a foundational theology compatible with the relationship between faith and reason (cf. Fides et Ratio, 67). Main themes are: Identity and task of fundamental theology; paradigmatic path of theological apologetics; the global event of the Revelation and its transmission in the living Tradition of the Church; the credibility of Revelation: possibility and fact; faith as a subjective principle of theological knowledge; models of contemporary fundamental theology.
