FINALITÀ
General Objective:
To help students acquire basic skills in reading biblical Hebrew
through vocabulary building and the study of grammar.
To read a selection of texts from the Hebrew Bible,
understanding the original Author’s words and to enjoy the
skill of the Bible’s Hebrew poets.
ARGOMENTI
Course Outline:
1. Introduction to the most basic elements of Hebrew
grammar with accent on nouns, the “qal stem” of verbs, and
sentence structure. 2. Selected readings from the Hebrew
Bible. 3. Use of the Hebrew Lexicon and the Bible Works
computer program.
