Psychology

The psychology curriculum aims to offer both basic and specialized training for operators, experts, researchers, and those who wish to train for the profession of psychologist, providing knowledge and skills regarding psychological processes related to education and human development throughout life, the promotion of personal and collective well-being, and intervention in situations of psychosocial distress.

This curriculum includes a common bachelor’s degree and two specializations in the licentiate.

Bachelor’s Degree in Developmental and Educational Psychology

The first cycle aims to train operators whose knowledge, skills, and competencies can be used in various formal, informal, and non-formal educational and learning contexts.

Due to the limited availability of places, new students must take an admission test.

Licentiate in Developmental and Educational Psychology

The second cycle of the Licentiate in Developmental and Educational Psychology aims to offer advanced knowledge of developmental processes in childhood and adolescence, with specific attention to contexts that promote education and optimal individual growth.

The study program ensures a set of competencies that allow for an autonomous and managerial role in conducting educational interventions and projects and collaborating with teachers, clinical and neuropsychological specialists, and other operators who, in various capacities, provide services within educational institutions.

Licentiate in Clinical and Community Psychology

The second cycle of the Licentiate in Clinical and Community Psychology offers the opportunity to achieve competencies in the field of clinical and community psychology for those who wish to practice as psychologists in research, intervention, and prevention or in recovery in situations of psychosocial distress or for the promotion of personal and collective well-being.
